It analyzes light reflected from the sample – spectroscopic reflectance- to determine film thickness, optical constants (n,k) & surface roughess. By measuring visible and non-visible to the eye light (UV, NIR) it can measure films as thin as 1 nm and up to 2mm with remarkable accuracy and precision. There are no moving parts, so results are available almost instantly. User friendly TFCompanion software makes the measurement process easy and transparent to the user. Measurement history, dynamic measurement, simulation, color analysis, display of results directly on sample’s image are just a few highlights of the software capabilities.
